What are you doing now?
I am a hematologist-oncologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. I am also an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Where did you go to college?
I did my undergrad at Harvard College, where I majored in Neurobiology, and I attended medical school at Yale School of Medicine.

What was one of your favorite memories from the competition or awards trip?
I recall how exciting it was to meet one of the astronauts!

Why would you say science education is important, and what role has it played in your life?
I certainly value my strong scientific education. I care for cancer patients every day, and it is my hope that new scientific breakthroughs will lead to better treatments for my patients.

Do you think taking The DuPont Challenge was a meaningful experience?
Yes, it was an exciting opportunity for me, as a high school student, to explore an interesting scientific topic. I would like to thank the sponsors of The DuPont Challenge for providing me with such a great opportunity!
